Ava encourages people to create harmony in themselves and with others.

Ava received a BA from Pitzer College of the Claremont Colleges in Dance Movement Analysis (honors) and English & World Literature (honors). She created artistic pieces that combined written and physical expression to reflect the mind-body connection. Ava was awarded the Virginia Princehouse Allen Prize for Outstanding Performance in Dance.
Embody
Ava embodied a fluid and powerful movement aesthetic. She danced professionally with New York based modern dance companies, including Estado Flotante, Sydnie L. Mosley Dances and NOT for reTAIL. She was an apprentice dancer with the classic Lori Belilove & Isadora Duncan Dance Company. Ava was a Teaching Artist with Steps on Broadway Young Dancers Program, HOSH for Kids and the McBurney YMCA.

Ava created learning experiences for youths that integrated cognitive, physical and emotional well being. She was a Lead Early Childhood Educator at the Central Bucks Family YMCA and a Dance Educator at the Budzynski Studios of Ballet. Ava built positive communities in which children supported each other.

Ava explores the relationship between learning and empowerment. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Arts in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. In addition, she is a Dance Department Intern at Brookline High School.
